Directions are below:

Birmingham Southern College is located off US Interstate 20/59 at the Arkadelphia Road exit (123). Turn left onto Arkadelphia Road (U.S. 78); Birmingham-Southern College will be on the right after you round the hill just past the interstate overpass.

From East or West:
Take I-20/59 to the Arkadelphia Road exit (123).
From I-20 East/I-59 North, turn right onto Arkadelphia Road.
From I-20 West/I-59 South, turn left onto Arkadelphia Road.
Drive over the interstate overpass. Birmingham-Southern will be on the right as you top the hill.

From North or South:
Take I-65 to the junction of I-20/59 and proceed on I-20 West/I-59 South (toward Tuscaloosa) to the Arkadelphia Road exit (123). Turn left and drive over the interstate overpass. Birmingham-Southern will be on the right as you top the hill.

RICKWOOD FIELD: AMERICA’S OLDEST BASEBALL PARK

Interstate Option:

Enter I-59 South; Exit Arkadelphia Road, exit #123; Turn left over interstate. Travel 1.2 miles, past Birmingham Southern College, to intersection of 3rd Avenue West. Arkadelphia Road has changed to Princeton Parkway by this point. The intersection of 3rd Ave. West and Princeton Parkway is identified by signs indicating Highway 11 and Highway 78.

Turn right onto 3rd Ave. West. Travel .4 miles, to first traffic light, at intersection of 3rd Ave. West and 12th Street West.

Turn left onto 12th Street West. Rickwood Field is located on the left.

Option:

I-65 North may also be used as access to I-59 South. Enter I-65 North and travel to the intersection of I-59. Exit onto I-59 South, toward Tuscaloosa, and exit at first exit, Arkadelphia Road, exit # 123. Follow directions outlined above.

Surface Streets From Downtown:

Travel west on Second Avenue North, leaving downtown area. Continue on 2nd Ave. North to intersection of Lomb Avenue.

Turn right onto Lomb. Travel .8 miles to second traffic light, at intersection of Lomb and 12th Street West. You will have passed the front entrance of Princeton Hospital after turning right onto Lomb Avenue.

Turn right onto 12th Street West. Rickwood is located on the right.

From Vestavia (by JT follow at your own risk)

I 65 to Greenssprings exit. Turn left toward Elmwood. Go to redlight in front of funeral home at Elmwood. Turn right on road that runs in front of Elmwood. (at somepoint it becomes Lomb Ave) Go past Princeton Hospital. Turn right onto 12th Street West. Rickwood is located on the right.
